The department of management invites applicants for a full-time and part-time lecture positions in the area of Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Accounting and Finance. We are looking for dynamic, committed and motivated person with excellent academic achievements. Applicant must be a degree holder from a recognized university and must have teaching experience.

Main Responsibilities/Duties

Teaching:

  • Preparing lecture materials and handouts and deliver it in lectures
  • Determining teaching programme for the academic year
  • Taking feedback from students to improve teaching methodologies and contents within the faculty
  • Provide guidance and advice to students
  • Mentoring and guiding students on assignment preparation
  • Preparation of a comprehensive lesson plan to guide lecture and tutorials
  • Effective and timely lecture delivery
  • Effective classroom control

Examination:

  • Setting and previewing examinations and assignment questions
  • Marking examination and assignment papers for students
  • Present examination reports to the faculty

Administration:

  • Determining teaching requirements
  • Participate in relevant activities within department/faculty
  • Recording and monitoring of students attendance, performance and progress
  • Report to management on student behaviour and practices
  • Advice on lecture best practices

External:

  • Participating in external working groups – on occasions may be asked to participate in the collaborative projects
